April 2007 - Grand Hotel Europe has just upgraded its existing collection of luxury cars. The management of the Grand Hotel Europe and BMW Russland Trading have signed an agreement to update the hotel's fleet of luxury automobiles.
The hotel has received 6 brand new 740 Li and 1 730 Li series limousines. The ceremonial handover of these cars took place at the Grand Hotel Europe on April 28th, when Vice-president of BMW Russland Trading, Oliver Hobitz, passed the keys of these brand new cars to Grand Hotel Europe's General Manager, Thomas Noll.
This acquisition continues the corporate cooperation between Grand Hotel Europe and BMW Russland Trading, which began in May 2005. For the second year running, on the eve of summer tourist season, BMW presented the Grand Hotel Europe with brand new first-class limousines.
The black 7 series automobiles, equipped with the xDrive intelligence system, are BMW's flagship models. The limousines have an extended salon which means an especially comfortable ride for back-seat passengers. All the cars have large-diameter alloy wheels and a 306- horsepower front engine and are equipped with xenon side- and front- headlights. The salon is furnished with natural leather and wood, and the seats can be adjusted electronically and are fitted with seat warmers. The cars are equipped with BlueTooth telephones.
Thomas Noll, General Manager of Grand Hotel Europe, commented on the new agreement: "I believe that BMW cars combine elegance and the best technology, in addition to the feeling of comfort and reliability that is characteristic of our hotel. (...) I hope that cooperation with such partners as BMW will allow the hotel to increase the range and quality of services available. BMW represents first-class service - we know and trust the management and owners of the company, and count on a long-lasting cooperation with them.
If demand for car rental among our guests should grow, I would not exclude the possibility of further expanding and updating our fleet of automobiles."
The Grand Hotel Europe now boasts 14 BMW limousines, in addition to 2 Classic Volga Cars and several excursion buses, to provide safe and comfortable transportation to its guests.
