The Grand Hotel Europe, and Christian Kremer, the president of BMW Russland Trading, have signed a contract to expand the hotel’s fleet of automobiles. In addition to its 11 new BMW 7-series limousines, the hotel has got two more vehicles: brand new BMW Gran Turismos. Now the biggest fleet of cars among Europe’s hotels numbers 13 BMWs. The official key handing-over ceremony took place on November 13, 2009.
The deal is a continuation of the corporate partnership program between the hotel and BMW Group Russia, which began in May 2005. Updating the fleet of automobiles has become quite a tradition at the hotel.
The BMW Gran Turismo is a new take on the classic automobile. It combines sophisticated elegance, an incredibly spacious interior and impressive versatility. The vehicle is powerful yet economical, extremely enjoyable to drive and has a vast boot that can accommodate even the most bulky objects. All of these advantages set the BMW Gran Turismo apart from other vehicles of its class. Behind its exterior design, which is reminiscent of a coupe, lies something truly innovative: the elegance of a sedan is perfectly combined with the multi-functionality and endurance of an SUV.
Inside the elegant doors with frameless windows, an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation awaits passengers. The gentle curves of the interior and the original and exclusive furnishings are all of the highest quality. During the daytime, the interior is filled with sunlight filtered through the panoramic roof, while in the evening, subtle lighting creates a pleasant ambience and enables passengers to see their surroundings. The rear seats can be moved backward by 100 millimeters, and the back of the seat can also be adjusted, which helps passengers to enjoy a first-class journey.
