St. Petersburg, February 2009 – Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg, the leading hotel of Russia, demonstrates once more that the recipe for success lies in choosing only the best details for big and small guests. The first step in 2009 was its cooperation with stuffed toys factory Steiff (Germany), known for its long traditions, which designed the exclusive Teddy Bear collection for Grand Hotel Europe.
"The Grand Hotel Europe is not an ordinary hotel“, a spokeman for Grand Hotel Europe explains the motivation for the exclusive cooperation with Steiff. "Everybody who visits us finds a second home in St. Petersburg. We would like to extend this claim up to the smallest detail.“
The hotel chooses all the best for its guests with love and attention. The latest highlight: three hand-made, about 30 cm tall Teddy Bears dressed in original Grand Hotel Europe outfit. The porter and the cook were taken as models for designing clothes for their stuffed counterparts. The jewel of the collection is a princess lady – a fiction character in a magnificent dress. The collection has not only the Steiff distinctive quality sign, the famous „Button in Ear“, but every Teddy Bear is a unique „one of only hundred pieces“.
"Usually Steiff produces special editions beginning with 500 Teddy Bears“, explains Natalia Davydova, Philipp Industrievertretungen. „We know Grand Hotel Europe well. It was clear, that even the best Teddy Bears in the world must be produced as a hand-picked collection.“
Since the turn of the year the three luxury souvenirs present a feeling of home and coziness not only for the smallest guests, but also give lovers and collectors an opportunity to take home a very special memory.
