Fridays - Tchaikovsky Classical DinnerEvery Friday, the hotel's L'Europe Restaurant features the Tchaikovsky Nights featuring timeless melodies of Pyotr Ilyich performed by a 13-piece symphonic orchestra and White adagio from the famous 'Swan Lake' with St. Petersburg ballet dancers.
The Tchaikovsky Nights are held on Friday, in L'Europe Restaurant, from 7pm to 11pm. A typical evening will start with live music entertainment from 9pm to 10pm, followed by a ballet performance.
Special setup for a dinner at the Europe Restaurant Balconies is organized upon request. The price is to be discussed.
The Grand Hotel Europe has always tried to fully integrate the rich artistic and cultural scene of St. Petersburg into its restaurants. Since its foundation in 1875 it has welcomed many musicians from various countries of the world. It was at the Grand Hotel Europe that young Dmitry Shostakovich played his sonata to Prokofyev.
The Russian composer, Pyotr Llyich Tchaikovsky, chose to spend his honeymoon at the hotel. To pay tribute to the great Russian composer, every Friday the hotel holds Tchaikovsky Night featuring timeless melodies of Pyotr Ilyich.
